Educational & Scientific Reference Scope

FastCosmos provides astrophysics, cosmology, and observational-methodology explainers and interactive calculators for educational and research-reference purposes. While every equation and measurement is checked against peer-reviewed literature and primary mission catalogs (see Sources and Methodology), content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Original explanatory text, vector diagrams, and software on FastCosmos are copyright © 2026 FastCosmos. Underlying astronomical catalog values (such as ESA Gaia DR3, Planck 2018, NASA Exoplanet Archive, and SIMBAD) remain subject to the respective public-domain or open-science attribution licenses listed on our Sources page.
